We All Have a Story

From the moment you take your first breath to the moment you take your last your story is being written. Your past (good, bad, and ugly) all work together to make up the person you are today. YOUR STORY DOES NOT DEFINE YOU, however, it is a part of you, a part of your story; and God doesn't waste a thing. In fact, His hand has been on your life from the very beginning,

Your story is still being written. There are many more God encounters on your horizon and I want to make sure you don't miss a single one. There are lots of ways to encounter God - silence and solitude which help you become better aware of His voice, different prayer practices, meditation, memorization, journaling, and fasting.

One great way to encounter Jesus is through the Scriptures. It's there we can experience Him; the way He lived and loved. Each passage draws us closer to Him as we walk side-by-side over dirt roads, and sit with Him alongside sinners, and cry with Him when He mourns. We get to be there when Jesus changes water into wine and feeds the crowds with a few fish and some bread.

We can sit at His feet while He tells us stories, We get to sit around the table and ache with him as He's betrayed by a friend, We stand at the foot of the cross, unable to speak because the pain is so intense, as we watch Him take His fina, excruciating breath. We will find ourselves outside of the tomb with Mary as she tries to process why His body is gone. We cry along with her when she hears the resurrected Christ speak her name.

What is your favorite Jesus story and why?

Is Your Story Stained?

I haven't had a great year. 2024 isn't going to be remembered as the year with all the fun. Granted, I haven't experienced anything...
